Ls swap in crx..............look at my slip let me know what needs to be done
i went to the track last night with my friends crx that we put a b18b1 in it with a 91 Ls tranny.
R/T - .583
60 - 2.324
1/8 - 9.887
mph - 72.06
1/4 - 15.349
mph - 89.17
i mean what the F... those numbers seem bad and i got around the same time in 6 runs. the car has nothing but an intake everything else is stock including the stock SI exhaust.
are these good numbers? i know its stock as hell but i was expecting better

The LS tranny sucks
, put an S1 in and you'll hit 14's. Don't expect anything good till thats replaced.

i have the same motor and run about the same time but i dont have 4th gear..i would probably hit lower ets if i had 4th gear
get a little boost on that engine... you can always sell the kit you put together plus t would be a great experience.
your timeslip was unsat for a couple reasons. the first one is non-vetc engines dont make alot of horse power na stock. if you can afford it stick a b16 vtec head on it. you will love it then. but you will need traction or kiss your first two gears goodnight. then if you stay na stick a b16 tranny on it because the gears are short as F@#$ which is a good thing for the 1320 but sh!@@# on the freeway.
lower you 60 footer and get some slicks, ditch the stock headers and exh. and get a different IM and that should plant you frimly into the 14s.

You are complaining about running a low 15 with an LS swap that has nothing more than an intake? You should be HAPPY that your motor is as strong as it is. First fo all, get a good header and exhaust system. This alone could possible drop you into the 14s. Also, you might want to do some suspension modifications, better tires/wheels, and PRACTICE. But seriously, low 15s is not EVEN bad with your current setup.
Alot of people will also recommend a B16A transmission. If you care at all about the longevity of your motor, DON'T DO THIS! The B18A was never designed to be a revver. And your motor will not last running constant high revs on the freeway for extended periods of time. Stick with what you have.

I hit a 15.1@91 last weekend with my 2020lb LS civic 4 door. I couldnt get below a 2.35 60' though. I was kinda dissapointed. I'm at 2500ft btw.

i thnik that time is pretty good too...i had a y1 tranny on my b18a1 and loved it...but highway driving wasnt that great like they said above. Id stay wiht the ls tranny if i were you...that tranny was designed perfectly for that motor. 3rd gear was always my favorite. btw i ran a 14.9 wiht intake, and exhaust. With a 2.1 60ft. But be happy wiht that time, that motor i think is prolly the best motor to build from...you have soo many options now!
