Ran my LS-T 94 civic 4dr
Sup guys havent posted a lot so your probably not gonna know who i am, but anywho ran my ls-t for the first time tonight on 8-9lbs i pulled off at 13.2 at 99.82 mph. I redlighted on this run but here is the time,
R/T...-.050
60'... 1.862
330...5.443
1/8...8.446
mph..81.82
1000..11.021
1/4...13.252
mph...99.82
I did this on a bone stock LS with a b16 tranny, thats y the low mph i was maxed out in 4th gear didnt want to shift into 5th so i had to feather the gas pedal back and forth for the last 200 ft id say. The turbo setup is a Drag manifold and a garrett t3t4 60 63 trim and 3 inch dp. Ran on some MT 22x8x15 Im pretty happy wit the time on 8-9lbs of boost gonna crank it up to 10 next time see if i can dip into the 12s. Let me know ur ls setups im interested and ur times.

My LS is about to be boost .... planning on 10psi and hoping to hit 12s ... but I might have to swap out the LS trans before I can get it that low.
What EMS are you running? Any HP #s ?

i do it ALL THE TIME on my STOCK B20B. No problems...yet. BTW on highway I always leave it in 5th and do a pull from time to time...sometimes topping out.

108mph? I have a 7k redline on my car and I don't think i've seen 108 at the end of 4th. most i've seen were around 100.

^^ Could be rim and tire combo that comes into play though also.
I'm planning to hit low 13's or high 12's on a stock ls in a 97 Teg. GJ.

Re: Ran my LS-T 94 civic 4dr (wickedhatch18)
you stayed in 4th for 200ft? LOL, there went your twelve.
People are scared about boosting in fifth so much because most peoples fifth gear will start around 130mph, but in your case your only doing 99 in the top of fourth. You really need to shift into fifth. Do you think that the second or so in fifth would have hurt your motor? Do you think your car will blow up if you go over 100?
You just have ultra short gears. Dont be skurred

wow, that is awesome. I was at the track last night with my boosted ls, and i ran a 14.6 at 99.71mph, so that gives me hope if i can only get traction. What is your suspension setup?

Re: Ran my LS-T 94 civic 4dr (wickedhatch18)
I ran a 12.9 at 110 with a 2.1 60". Setup was a 97 Civic hatch with a stock boosted LS, stock clutch, and 14" steelies, on 195/60/14's regular street tires. Dynoed at 240/207 @ around 11 psi.

Re: Ran my LS-T 94 civic 4dr (Boltz)
Not that i was scarred to go into 5th it was just that i was at the point where i shift and lose some mph and if i kept it in 4th and just level it out at redline felt the best deal at the moment, 200ft might b an exageration but i did shift into 5th on one of my runs and i lost a mph soo i duno ill try something different next time. I wasnt tat antsy to run my 12 last night neways. I was just happy of what it did pull off on 8 lbs in a heavy 4dr with no weight reduction.

A GSR/B16 5th gear is like a LS 4th gear...
I want ***** out with my new GSR YS1 Cable tranny the other night. Topped out at 120mph at around 7000rpms in 5th... 14" rims with 60 tires if that helps anyone.

4th on an LS tranny tops out at 108 - 110 with 14" rims on 60 series tires.
