can someone tell me what this SRS"code" mean?
The car starts as usual, everything is fine. Then as I start to drive. the SRS light blinks.
This is the sequence. I think it's either.
1 short then 1 long or
2 short blinks then 1 long one.
does anyone know what these 2 codes are?

hope this helped..

maybe you are right. cause a few days ago my steering wheel was removed and put back, what could have cause this problem? cause the first time we took out the wheel it didn't happen. but this time it did,. loose connection?anyone else?
well you can try to take it back of and make sure its on correctly...if you really dont know take it to someone who does...you wouldnt want that thing blowing up in your face.
SRS is supplemental restraint system it is the Airbags Have a dealer troubleshoot this. if you do stuff wrong the bag can and will deploy!
it is most likely when you removed the wheel always reference a helms manual before doing anything near the SRS system!
Once again I VERY HIGHLY recommend that you take this to the dealer.d
Believe me you don't want to get hit by one and I know...

If the key was on and you disconnected the driver's airbag, that will give you an SRS code. Also, if you rotated the cable reel while the steering wheel was off, and put the wheel back on, there is a chance that you damaged the cable reel. The cable reel has to be centered, it only turns so much each way, and if you go past it's limit, it fails. BTW-SRS = Supplemental Restraint System.

Good job explaining just wanted to add that if the steering wheel was removed with out disconecting the battery that is another problem.

Yes. The power for the driver's airbag comes from the cable reel. If the cable reel is damaged, you will get an SRS light.
