if you tell them that it takes regular 3g integra (non type r) pads, and 4g prelude 4x114.3 rotors, then i'm sure they'll do any maintenance you require.

yes, they are different. 97 JDM ITR = 4x114.3 (4-lug) and 97 USDM ITR = 5x114.3 (5-lug). Also the 96-97 JDM ITR brake rotors are smaller in diameter than their US counterpart.

97 jdm itr and 97 usdm itr brakes do not have the same maintenance parts.

you consider a mechanic doing regular maintenance as replacing all the parts do you?

The dealer will do anything for $. Doing it right is another story entirely .

like I said before, you need to STFU. i can comprehend english, spanish, and french very well for your information.

"maintenance" is the process of servicing or replacing maintenance items on a car. "maintenance items" (wear items) are those items that need to be serviced/replaced over time. as i mentioned previously i was only clarifying your statement "same maintenance though" so that everyone understands that you were referring to the actual labor/service, and not the maintenance/wear items themselves.

in reality, the maintenace (service) is *NOT* the same between the two vehicles in this example because different parts are used. the procedures are similar yes, but not exactly the same because different parts are used. you saying "same maintenace though" could potentially be misleading to someone who didn't catch the full drift of what you were saying.

i can imagine someone taking your comment and going to the dealership and telling them to use equivalent 97 USDM ITR parts to service their 97 JDM ITR brakes, and it just won't work. Maybe you'd consider that person stupid for not "comprehending english" well enough to understand exactly what you meant, but on the flip side that person would consider you unclear and not very helpful in the statement you made.

i was just trying to be nice, you are just trying to be mean and unhelpful just like your original post in this thread. you are useless, so go away. honestly, if you don't have something nice, constructive to say then don't say anything. no one wants to hear it.

go on and perpetuate this completely assinine conversation/argument you are trying to wage against me here. please refrain from making insulting comments towards me though as it does nothing but deepen our feeling and understanding of your own foolishness. i am not stupid, and i do comprehend english very well thank you.
