Okay when I ordered the parts from Race Eng. they gave me the D16a6 pistons/D16 rods and the VW head bolts... Now the f-ing rods don't fit, they are too wide and the rods hit the cylinders' corner when making the loop.


I called back and they told me it happens sometimes... and that i need to "drimmel"(s?) the cylinder a lil' bit. has anyone done this before???

 

Pretty much every D series motor with Eagle rods will need to do this. Your lot alone.
