Default B18 piston upgrades

Hi

i'm in a bit of a mess at the moment, my heads spinning with ideas that i don't know will work or not

idealy i'd like to get the B18 Type R bottom end, but in the UK they're like rocking horse s**t to get hold of, no breakers yards will split engine & i can't afford to buy complete unit

If i get a B18 from a Civic/GSR, , are there high compression pistons available, i havn't been able to find much listed, everything is listed for the Type R version. TBH i don't know a great deal about the diffs between the B18 family

Could i buy a B18 Civic/GSR block, then buy a set of JDM Integra Type R pistons? what about the rods?

In fact, would i be able to use the JDM EK9 Type R oversized pistons that i've got in my B16 block?

Thanks

Craig

Hi

thanks for that Integra Type R or EK9 Type R pistons?

Either, but the CTR pistons will yield you higher CR.
