Default sunroof

Last night I was taking the liner off my sunroof to secure it better since it was a little loose. Well when I took it off I was looking at the bolts that hold the metal panel on. I tried turning them with my hand just to see if they where loose at all and 3 of them snapped off!! I didn't use a wrench or anything, just used my hand. Why would this happen?? What would make them so loose that they would break like this? Is there a way to replace those bolts? Or do I need to buy a whole new panel?

I didn't rip the roof off... although that would be a feat What I mean is the 8 bolts that secure the sunroof to the sliders, the ones that have the shims on them. Somehow 3 of the bolts got near broken and when I twisted them they came off in my hand. The sunroof is still on but not very secure. I wanted to know if there is a way to replace those bolts or if they are perm welded onto the sunroof?
