better hope its not a bearing... did u get shitty gas? maybe its something simple like that.. u can pull your oil pan to check bearings... maybe if it spun one bad when u drain your oil u will see metal flakes... thats rebuild time..
you bought it knowing there was a chance of having a serious problem with it right off? Hope it was a steal... It could even be your timing being to far advanced... Check the easy stuff first or take it in to a shop and they can since you just got it...

i put new clutch in it was so much a bitch it was not even funny we cranked it up! it was still knocking i got 2 new cv joints clutch = 500 dollers maskat *** ***! i think it is a spun bering *** *** im going to find out tomarrow - aka im a car dealer tryin to start buyin a selling cars im loseing on this *** in car -nick
Is it a loud knock or more of a buzzing knock sound? I had a downpipe and both pipes were broken inside just below the connection to the manifold. It wasn't visible from the outside and made kind of a knocking sound as well.
