well my honda accord (86') wiht efi started blowing whiteish/greyish smoking today...checked the oil but it is fine, normal color, not milkshakey....so what do you guys think?

 

check anti freeze level, it should be above max if your car is running
the temp should read close to hot if not already

 

also do a compression check

or open the radiator cap when car is cold and start it and look to see if there is bubbles coming out ....

i checked the for bubbles, no bubbles, i let it run for a little bit and it did not get hot...

also, i have a small hole exhaust leak right under the middle of the seats and there is a puddle of anti freeze there......

 

blue smoke=burning oil..
but cant really see it in the pic, what color is it?

and it just happened like BAM pouring smoke out? hmmm

 

my temp guage has been really weird lately, it was sticking like way cold then it would just jump to hot and then back off, it is weird, sometimes it would be hot as soon as you start the car.

but the other night i noticed it got hot and it was low on coolent, filled it up and then at the next stop light it was smoking quite a bit......
