The GSR motor is still siting in the garage, im using this time to change the clutch. anyway, heres the deal. 99 USDM GSR motor, ITs all converted to OBDI. The EF that was runing this motor previously felt ok, it did have the check engine light on. HOwever when i pulled out the motor i saw how poorly all the wiring is done. Theres cut wires, loose ends, extra plugs hangin back there, and i had to cut some wires myself to pull out the motor, which i didnt mark. Its a p28 ECU so im tryin to use a civic d16z6 wiring diagram, the colors match up on the ECU, so i know where everything should go but on the motor im seeing totally different wires, colors, plugs..etc. probably beacuse its OBDII. So i wouldnt know how to rewire it again. I was thinkin about buying a OBD GSR wiring diagram but the task of combining a OBDI ECU, OBD0 chassis harness, and an OBDII engine harness seems beyond me. So if anyone knows what theyre doing out here in So Cali (im in huntington beach) let me know. I wilpay for quality work. (meaning that it starts, and runs, with no codes or drivability problems).
