if you want OEM based studs, rear studs from a CL.
want longer, check frank lin (i think his PM is Ghetto Racer). I got my wheel studs from him a while back.
i think his website is: http://www.gspeed.com? He might not be in the business anymore since i bought them from him like 2 years ago.

the studs do have a purpose. For racing you have to have them because it allows a lot of thread engagement compared to something else. It also helps the guys at tech out because they can look at it and tell weather you have them tight or not. For racing, if i understand this correctly, they have to be spotwelded into place.
I got mine for the look. I have the skunk 2 studs w/ some jap. brand titanium lugs. They're real light but i change from my race tires to street tires and back pretty often and they seem to be showing signs of being worn out but they still look sick sticking out the wheels.

extended wheel studs, to show length and tightness is a complete crock.. lol
extended wheel studs are to addapt a larger, thicker wheel.. plain and simple.. yes, those aluminum wheels that are thicker than your OEM studs, and just dont' work..
i have my Skunk2 Studs on 13" bogarts 24 X 8.5 X 13.. but yes, not everyone can afford true traction.. it has its costs.. and people go for looks..
Skunk2 Studs, on Skunk2 lugs..

oh, i forgot to mention.. if you've seen slicks... like bogarts, they don't center with a cone type lug nut, they are centered by a lug that sleaves the inside of the wheel.. hard to explain.. like, huge holes, for the lug to enter.. they don't come off, trust me.. well, you need diff. lug nuts.. when i slick down, i can only get maybe the last 5-6 threads of the stud.. thats how much wheel your working with.
