OEM vtec pistons on LS rods

Default OEM vtec pistons on LS rods

do stock LS rods need to be modified to fit oem vtec pistons on them?

you need to narrow the small end of the rod to use vtec pistons. its about .100" I think...dont try to do it yourself. I recommend getting the rods re-shotpeened after the narrowing procedure.
ps What pistons did you go with?

um.............correct me if i am wrong but i am under the understanding that stock first gen pr3 b16a pistons will bolt up no problem and up the compression a bit.

you only need to machine the rods on R pistons, the b16 pistons press right on.

all pr3 pistons fit...p72 and p28's need to have the rod milled down some to fit like said above. I
