Guessing you mean under $5,000. You can easily do the swap for that price. Just have to find the engine. I didn't have any luck finding one of those engines either.

I'm doin' my H22 swap in a week or two, and I'll be removing my F22A1 (from a 92 LX, 125hp).
It's got 166k miles on it, so that's quite a bit more than 50k... and only 125hp instead of the 140 of the F22A6... However, it's still strong, and it's been pretty well maintained (plus, I'd consider any reasonable offer... 5sp tranny too, though the 2nd gear synchros are starting to go...)

If you're planning on adding a turbo, you might want to do a buildup to make it a little stronger anyway, so mileage shouldn't matter all that much. No matter what, you'll still be working with a 10-13 year old engine (if you get the F22A series, that is).
Just thought I'd put the offer out there. I just planned on ripping the engine apart to see how it works, so if you could make better use of it...
What are you planning on dropping it into? If you're interested, I'm in NJ, so shipping shouldn't be too much (unless you wanna drive up here from NC... it's only 8 hours ) If not, good luck in finding one you want!

I will have the motor from a 93 ex coming soon and i will sell it really cheap. The motor has about 150,000-170,000 miles i think. If you are going to turbo then you might as well just do a full build while you are getting a new motor so you do not have to do it in the future. let me know if you are interested.

i think he means 50 k miles. F22s usually go for about $400, just find somebody that did a swap. They are usually very eager to get rid of it. I sold my f22a4 for $60.

I'm looking for a good f22b1 (SOHC V-tec) with not a whole lot of miles on it, and in good perfect working condition. I've almost blown my f22, and I don't have enough money right now for a H22a swap. I wished I could find one for 100 bucks, sheesh.
