Default G4 ITR- limited production too?

While we're all oooohing and ahhing over the new ITR's, my question is are the differences between the new Type-R and the Type-S similar to the current Type-R and GSR differences. Does the new ITR have a stiffer chassis as well? Port and polish done by hand too? Limited production with a number plaque? And other nice things like the header/exhaust/throttle body that separates the ITR from the GSR. How is the 220hp being accomplished?

It just seems to me the G4 ITR is more "mass produced"- I could by very wrong though. I just haven't read enough articles differentiating the ITR from the base Integra/RSX or Type-S.

Its a Type R; meaning type racing. Of course the new R is going to have a firmer suspension. It does have 20 or so more horsepower out of the same displacement; 2.0 liters; meaning some internal work had to be done. Its going to be limited production, meaning that there's going to be a number plaque. Since compression in Japan can handle the fuel there, we probably would have detuned version.

Not alot of details are offered concerning whether or not the US will get a Type R version. But you can assume that it will live up to it's Type R nameplate. Someone mentioned that we probably might get a detuned version due to fuel ratings, and I second that comment.

Also, I've read somewhere...I forgot exactly...that the Type R in Japan was underated because of the fact that it so closely matches the S2000's HP ratings. They could in fact have at least 230 or 235 HP in the Japanese version.

The NEW RICE FAD-

I could really see people shaving their ACURA badges on the top left of the trunk and replacing it with the "INTEGRA" from the G4 Teg.

Ok maybe not too ricey.

Thanks for some explanations, I am having a friend translate the Honda Japan ITR page for me as we speak.
