Default what size is the crank pulley tool? thining of making my own tool?



what is the large hex size?
I know the inner bolt is a 19mm...but what about the pulley
reason I ask is i'm thinking of making my own pulley tool

I measured it out to around 1.973" or 50.48mm. Mine fits a little loose in the crankshaft pulley tho, so maybe 51mm would be better.

the guy that made mine said he used a 48mm nut. just slightly smaller than the 50mm crank pulley hole.

How snugly does your's fit? 48mm seems a bit too small.

I tested my holder on a spare crank pulley I have laying around and it fits a tad bit loose. You can probably get 4 degrees of rotation on it before it actually locks on the side walls.

Maybe my dial caliper is off. I'll break out the micrometer later on.

The Helm book says the tool is 50mm (= 1.9685")

I just measured my moroso tool. If this ruler im using is accurate, it's 50mm. hth
