Default b16a1 swap

Is this a good swap to put into a 92 cx hatch because I've heard that the second generation b16 was better. Any advice would help. Thanks

You do not want a 1st Gen B16 swap. Not worth it. Get yourself a second gen B16 motor.

Yea b16a1's (OBD0) are good in 88-91 Civics/CRXs, I say go with a B16A2 (OBD1), it will be easier too.

If you get a first generation B16 motor than you'd have to:
-Get a new hydraulic clutch since first gen is cable .
-Wire the nonOBD to OBDI.
-Live with the fact that the first gen B16 motor is weaker.

B16A2 is just a straight drop in.

or you can call HMO and get an sir II with a cable clutch tranny(92jdm integra xsi) and still be pushing 170ps... and just keep it obd1.... kind of a headache to convert the engine to OBD0 like i did...
