b16 longblock?

Re: b16 longblock? (DRAG lll INTEGRA)
First B16 had a lower compression. I want to believe the older motor had 9.6:1 compression. For a turbo, thats pretty good but who knows what the condition might be. I think thats why he is saying stay away from it.
If this is the 2nd generation motor, $400 for a longblock is the best deal IVE seen.

Also if he gets a cable tranny, you have to buy a hydro to cable conversion kit from Hasport.

Actually, a 1st gen B16 came with 10.2:1 compression..same as the US B16A2
You can use a 1st B16 with a hydro type tranny.
The only thing that will be a pain is the sensors. You have to swith a lot of stuff out, such as the distributor, and I believe, the injectors. Those are the major ones. I'm not exactly sure what else you need to change, but those are the basics.
