Default Symptoms of low fuel pressure on mildly built GSR...?

Can anyone shed light some of the obvious symptoms of Low fuel pressure on a B18c motor (other that spark plug evidence)?

After I enter vteC, y0, I get a bog effect and it feels like one cyl is dead, however this fails to be the case in a leakdown test, although I am slightly leaking through the #1 cyl (aprox 20%). What does this sound like to you guys?

It has cams, Mugen chipped p30 ECU, ITR bottom end and necessary valvetrain hardware....

Help?

Have you checked your oil lately? If you are low on oil, when the car should be hitting VTEC, it bogs badly because there is not enough oil pressure to activate the VTEC y0!

Fresh and full oil. It could be oil pressure, because there is a leak there too I`m just not sure where it is yet. I`ll investigate today.

Need more info. Have you checked your fuel pressure? What spark plugs, what ignition system? What steps have you taken to isolate the cause. What specific setup.

Well, I don`t have a FPR(or gauge), so I can`t check the FP.
Stock DX ignition system, stock DX fuel pump, stock DX injectors.
I did a leakdown and it revealed some less than favorable #`s(Mentioned in first post).

Set-up:
OBDI GS-R w/ ITR pistons, Crower 402`s and 80LB dual springs w/ ti retainers, maybe 20k off the head (just standard resurfacing).

Basically I hit VteC and just after I let of the pedal, it feels like it`s on 3 cylinders, it bogs liek a VW, sounds like a wierd V8 or something, but after a second....it`s normal again with the correct throttle response. What you think?

Oh yea, plugs are NGK`s, the ones for an LS I believe.

Shoot some ideas my way

Sounds like an ignition system problem. Spark plugs should be o.k. How do you run a stock DX ignition system? DX distributor? I would check all of the wires inside the distributor-the ones that connect to the ignition coil and the ones that connect to the igniter. Make sure that the ones that clip on to the spade connectors on the igniter are tight, and the ones that are held by screw to the coil don't move. If you use a screw that is too long to hold the wires to the coil, the screw will bottom out and feel tight, but the wire will still be loose. Also closely inspect the distributor cap and rotor. Try substituting another set of plug wires and running it. Also check to be sure that the ground wire near the thermostat housing is secure, seen more than one car run strangely because that ground was loose. That's it for now.

I kinda misunderstood you when you said what ignition, It`s also an OBDI GS-R set up, and come to think of it, I recently swapped distributors w/ a guy while my car was down, so today I`ll swap another one on, alongw/ some new wires and check that out...I always thought that once a distributor goes bad, it just don`t work, I kinda assumed it good or bad...Defineately worth a look-sie

I`m confident all grounds are properly secured, that`s always my peeve, so IO make sure they go well

Thanks
