i've got a d16z6 in my 91dx hatch. my car hesitates when vtec comes in but when it comes in it pulls hard. i'm wondering if i need to upgrade the fuel pump. anyone had an experience with this? if so what fuel pump should i buy?

 

What ECU are you running? If you are running an 88~91 ECU, are you using a VAFC to control vtec? If so, have you bumped up your fuel map for vtec range?

 

i'm running a crx si ecu and distributor and a fields vtec controller. only bumped up alittle. also running i/h/e , bored 30 over, lightend flywheel, act clutch, gude throttle body, gude intake manifold. by the way, anyone got a sohc vtec bullfrog cam for sale?
