Default Ls questions?

I finally decided that I am going to go with an ls swap and now I have questions. I know that it has a lotta torque and mediocre hp so I want to put a turbo in it. Here is the major question. If I am just getting the engine stock are there any preps that I have to make before putting on the turbo or can it just be put on the stock motor the way it is.

you can turbo the stock motor but i would get new injectors and fuel pump and stuff like that as well unless it comes with your turbo kit. Ive heard of people running about 9 psi i think it was on stock internals and on a daily driver. Use the search function this kinda post comes up every single day

how much boost are you planning to run with your LS motor. My future setup will also be a turbo. But I only plan on running 6-8lbs of boost on stock internals. As far as fuel management goes. You won't need to upgrade your injectors unless you plan on running high boost. My future fuel setup will be the FMU/missing link. I will also be running a high pressure inline fuel pump and an SAFC to fine tune the fuel. No need to get an MSD BTM unless you plan to run past 8lbs either. Maybe in time..if i get greedy for more boost. I'll run hondata..but for 6-8lbs the FMU route will be just fine.

I also have a ls fully built though, you can put a greddy bolt on kit without a problem stock wise, just dont boost over 6 or7psi , you should be fine, fully built 19psi is alot of fun though, greddy came out with a bolt on ls kit for your info
