Default HELP: car hesitation

Need help, I was driving normally today, and was in 2nd gear rev it up maybe around 6000 or so, and then all the sudden the car just lose its power. The exhaust sound was sounding beautiful and all the sudden it sounds like ****. And now the car doesn't seems willing to move.

I've checked the engine, no visiable leaking or anything. But the car just hestitates during acceleration. And the CEL will start flashing .

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

thanks

i was just informed that the code 73, 74 meant that cylinder 3, 4 are misfiring. So if that IS your code, you should have it checked ASAP

First maybe you should take a look at your plugs, see if theyre ok. See if youre getting spark.

I had a similar problem with my R. It was reading codes 9 and 11 though. The dealer replaced my crankshaft position sensor and my WHOLE distributor. The car runs harder than ever now.

Sounds like you need new plugs and/or wires. That makes sense though...car runs like **** cuz your misfiring, and so does the exhaust cuz it's backfire...same thing happend to my bro's GSX after i got on it pretty hard.

How old is your car?

peace
