i am thinking about upgrading my ignition but i don twant to leave anythign out. I wanted to start out with just an external coil and then work into a BTM system when i get my turbo back on.

so… to make it an extral coil all i need is;
1.MSD blaster 2 coil?
2.MSD dist. cap with external coil lead?

is that all i need to make it an exreanl coil?

then when i upgrade to the BTM all i need to get is the BTM unit right?

yeah, you need the coil itself, the blaster cap, and a little bit of wire. you take apart the distributer, take out the ignition coil, and run wires from the positive/negative on the coil to the external coil. very easy
