Default Racing Fuel

Will leaded 110 clog fuel injectors? Has any one ever ran it?

Yes, and it'll SCREW your cat. Lead + precious catalytic elements = sad sad day. Don't run leaded gas.

Why in the world would you want to use that fuel. The ideal fuel to use is the lowest octane without detionation. (or knocking)

not to be rude or anything. but did you even read the post before you spouted out your info? he hasn't even listed his mods for the car. he could be running 25lbs of boost on an h23vtec for all we know. would you be running 91 octane(or a lower octane). you just assumed that he had a generally stock/slightly modded car.
now. to answer the question. no. leaded fuel will not clog your injectors. however it will destroy cats(but you dont' have them) and it will **** your o2 up. but there is an o2 sensor on the market that is lead safe so you wouldn't have to worry. however i forget the name of the o2 sensor and who makes it. but the question is. why would you run leaded when there is unleaded available?

Think some more folks and take a look at the SUNOCO Race Fuels website. They give the real info on this subject. BTW: there is an issue with valves and the type of fuel you use. 100 Octane Unleaded race gas is generally enough-but as the last writer mentions-it also depends on what has been done to the engine internally.

like jc said. 100 is usually enough for a mildy modified car. 110 is really overkill unless your pushing big boost. but yeah sunoco has lots of info for ya.

yes and as said above, you want to go with the lowest octane you can... the higher the octane the harder it is to get the fuel to ignite, causing a slower burn. Obviously you don't want something that's going to just ignite on it's own, but you don't want something that's going to do too slow of a burn or you'll be loosing power

Thanks for the info, The reason i was woundering about leaded is tha the gas station down the strees sells sunco 110 leaded for only $1.99 a gallon.

BTW my mods

Balanced and blueprinted H22 /w oversize type S pistons, ported and polished head /w skunk 2 stage 2 cams, valves and valvetrain, Fidanza flywheel, exedy clutch, Mugen header, Mugen cat-back, Aem cai, test pipe, STR cam gears, big bore throttle body. All built by King Motorsports.

I need a Accord Euro R Tranny for this project to be completed anyone got one?

I run 116 leaded (VP Racing fuel C-16), and yes it does screw up the 02 sensor (i.e. it will not last as long), but it does not do anything to the injectors.
