Default still doesnt feel right

I took my car to the shop for the person who done my swap. With the shifter I have to fight to get the h22a swap in my accord to get into first gear and reverse. This **** isnt right. He keeps sayin its the shortshifter but i know its not cause first off I had this shifter inside my old accord engine and its just an adapter it has nothing to do with that. But I dont know what it is i have to constantly fight with it its not right what should i do? The clutch is new everything i just dont get it He said he forgot to put some pins in the clutch lines and it still does the samje ****. please someone help me before i ruin my car,.

Mt Accord does the same thing and its got 98k on it. Youll have to learn to double clutch it or find another gear before you go into first or second. For me to get into reverse i have to go to 4th or even first sometimes. But your problem in first, i would try letiing out the clutch a little while you fight it, should slide right in.

pins in the clutch lines? wtf is that? there arent any pins in the clutch line. i think you got fuct with labor from someone who really didnt know what they were doing. Also, maybe the transmission was messed up from the beginning with bent/broken shift forks/synchros.what i would do is check the shift cables and see if they are fully extending/retracting with each shift. have a friend help you.
