Default How hard is it to change a b16a2 pistons and rods?

I need some help with changing my piston and rods? I pulled out my motor already and what do you guys recommend me to do..? Shop or Myself?

If you pulled the motor you should be able to tear apart the rest. Get a service manual they help alot. I built my motor but I had a good idea about what I was doing. Books help too. I suggest the Honda Builders Handbook vol. 2. In the back there is a good article about building a longblock and how to do it step by step RC style.

Depends on the shape of your block. Some machine shop work is in order if you want it to be perfect. Honing the cyclinders should not be left out of your things to do and Id have a machine shop do that and make sure that everything is balanced.
