I did a 97 gsr swap into a 94 ls. I'm using a chipped p28, and the obd2 engine harness. The problem is the car wont rev past 4k at a stand still or in reverse, but it drives fine in gear, or at a forward roll. There is no CEL's, vtec works fine, and the idle is normal. I didnt hook up the evap system, so I was wondering if that could be the problem.

My friends accord did that but thats because it was auto, at 4kor so it hust sounded like it was hitting the rev limiter. Maybe u have an auto ecu, are you throwing codes?
