What would you do? (need hybrid guys opinions) Car buildup.
I need some opinions on the cheapest / best way to go about building my project.
I bought an 96 integra LS that was theft recovery for a project buildup.
car has no engine, and wiring harness is cut(unusable). and no shift linkage
The wiring harness was replaced w/ harness from 94 integra(odb1)
Here's my delimna.
I don't know which engine route I should go.
My plan was to go H23 b/c I can get one locally for $450 w/ tranny
for the swap I would need ECU, engine mount kit and shift cables/shifter
I already have a B18a from an 90 integra that I am parting out. This engine needs a water pump, has 2 bad fuel injectors, and intake manifold gasket.
To put this engine in the 96 I will need distributor, engine mounts(2) and hydrolic tranny and shift linkage/shifter and anything else I may be missing to conv to ODB1.
Just wanted to get opinions on what you guys would do.

450 with a tranny, a couple hundred more with the other parts you need and the gobs of torque you are looking at... Go with the H23. You could always do a vtec head later. Good Luck
