oil pressure gauge
A common way to do it is to put a brass 'T' fitting into the back of the block where the stock sensor is, and then put the new sending unit on one side and the new one on the other.
that means that there is a short in the signal wire, which is grounding it out. Or the gauge itself is fux0red, but more likely its your wiring.
Also, I don't think the factory warning light is compatable with the aftermarket sending unit, but I have no idea.

what i meant was that if i can put the sending unit where the stock sensor is? and get rid of the stock sensor cause if i have a oil pressure gauge i wont need the stock sensor?
this that make sense?

You can do it that way. Most people don't due to the fact that your oil light may (I don't know for sure) throw a CEL that puts you into limp mode and I don't think that it'll allow VTEC. Putting a T on it is a bad idea due to the weight of the T fitting.
