k20 vs k24

A year from now, there will be a lot of info on the K-series engines, because more people will have tried swaps and so forth. Right now, good information is hard to come by. I would love to swap a K24 engine from a TSX into a Civic and see what it will do...
Guess I'll just have to wait until can get my hands on one.

Yeah, I wish. Dude, if I had that cash, I'd take you up on it
Yeah, I'd love to get the swap into my 01 civic also, but it's gonna be a few years. Aight, well I guess I'll just have to keep reading. Thanks.

Somewhere on this forum, I saw a post from Hondata giving an HP/TQ curve from doing a...I think they compared HP/TQ from a K20 and then HP/TQ from a K24 with K20 head, and the differences were noticeable and sexy. Obviously, the K24 is a nicer block, given that it has .4 L more displacement and it's supposed to be torqued to all hell. But it's just the K20 head part I'm confused on. Oh well...Thanks again.

i read in import tuner or something that hasport is making a lot of mounts for different cars. and that with the Type R head and the k24 black will give you around 210hp with 179 ft lbs i think. i could be wrong. but impressive numbers. (02-04 RSX heads)
