94 gsr vafc question
ok, i put this in, and i was just wonderintg what your guys pressure is usually reading...ever since i put it in, it smells like im running really rich, and i honestly dont know much about the vafc, and i dont want to **** anything up, can anyone assist?
I've seen stock cammed B18C1's go up to -570mmHg (idle).
On my ITR cammed B18C1, vacuum is around -520mmHg at idle when the cams are at (0,0). With the cams at (+2,-1), idle vacuum is around -500mmHg.
Did you get it used or new?

Have you run through the fuel adjustment screen yet to see if the settings are not all at 0?
It might simply be easier to just re-initialize the VAFC and redo the initial configuration if the settings are all over the place.

Re-initialize the unit anyways. Set sensor IN/OUT to 06 06, # cyl's = 4 ARROW UP.
Set VTEC lo-> hi to 4400rpm, and hi -> lo to a 4200rpm.
It might not be the car.
