Any Transmission Shifting Problems?
Well she's acting up. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd above 7,000 RPM it will Grind, fourth is fine, and into fifth is fine. However fifth to third, grind, try to go back to fifth, grind... ARGH! Anyone else having any problems? I'd say maybe I don't know how to drive stick but I have an Accord as a beater that has 183,000 miles on it and no transmission problems other than the weird Honda sometimes it will go into first easy and sometimes not. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem?
I know I will but I figured I'd like to go in with some idea of what is wrong. Or if they are going to try and say I did something to the car. Even auto-x ing the car, I never even hit 3rd... Plus they are going to give me an auto yucky Teg probably BLUE to drive around in while they have my car.
Take it to the dealer, but dont let them blame it on you. I think there were a couple of other ITRs that had synchro problems from the factory. Try a search to see if you can find those posts. Sounds like your synchros are shot, which should happen with a fairly new car, how many miles you got so far?
It's always been a little on the "touchy" side but now it grinds unless you are REALLY slow shifting. I've got 12,000 I think, I haven't looked in a while. But still shouldn't be doing this already...I'll be making an appointment soon.
I had the same problem with mine with only ~1200mi on it. The dealer tried to say i drove to hard, but i told them that I hadn't even broken the car in yet and that a car with that few miles shouldn't have problems. they covered it for free. The also covered when the disengagement springs on my pressure plate broke. that was with ~10000mi.

So they replaced the Synchros? how long about did it take them? Jeeze I'm full of questions! Sorry but thanks for the answers.
Mine does the same, also my clutch stopped fully disengaging as well, i paid for the clutch, but I'm almost out of warranty and I don't think they'll fix the synchros....
When they replaced my fifth gear one, it took them a day.. but they had to order the parts first. They gave me a new fifth gear as well, pretty cool 
Mine is doing it in 3rd now if above 6000rpm, and in 4th sometimes if I redline 3rd. Have to take it in soon.
