My friend and I are working on his 89 crx si. However it has a 93 sohc v-tec si engine in it, but v-tec isn't hooked up. We were told that it's possible to wire v-tec to a tach, and would be able to set v-tec off whenever. How would we go about wiring v-tec to the tach? Like we would like to know all the details and everything. HHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ?!?!

Your gonna need a Tach with a Shiftlite, not any old tach will work. Can also use a RPM activated switch like MSD, Autometer, etc. Can also go with a toggle switch in a worse case (dont suggest this one for any long term installs)

u can use a shiflight.... switch, vtec controler

u can use a MSD RPOM activated switch, Zdyne ecu , etc

i currently have a MSD RPM activated switch with all instructions, relay, and 4200,4400,4600,4800, pills , shipped to ya for $75

 

ok, we have a tach with a shift light already. wut else do we need? wut type wiring? where does the wiring go? how much wiring do we need? we really need help, and plus not trying to be funny, but i'm a bit slow so your gonna have to really explain it. i thank you guys so much, i'm a bit new on the import's so i'm tryin' my best.
