Default vtec help

Whats up guys ... i have a 93 civic 4dr with a 1.5 non-vtec SOHC. I bought a 1.6 SOHC vtec, and im a little sketchy about installing the vtec. I have a solenoid, but i think it might be best to get a new one, and im also shopping for a vtec ecu. Im just not real sure about hooking it all up. Ive heard the rumor that switching to a vtec ecu from non vtec requires some wiring. Im also not sure how to hook up the vtec solenoid. Can you give me some tips, or point me in the right direction.

Just hit the search button and type in vtec wiring and click the archived button. More stuff on there than you probably care to read
Edit: Everyone is going to tell you to search first FYI
