Default Strut bar install problems....

Yea i know, by far the easiest install in existance.....and I cant do it.

I drove around for a while without the (oem) itr strut tower bar on, and not it doesnt line up. If i put it on one side, it's not long enough for the other it seems....

Any ideas ?

i'm working on other parts, so currently the car is jacked up evenly and supported on all 4 points. Could this simply be causing it? I feel stupid.....

put it on the ground (bits that affect suspension should always be torqued with the car's weight on the wheels for future reference, so even if it did fit you wouldn't want to snug it down till the car was in an unstressed resting state on its wheels).

Car is lowered and on the ground. Still not fitting. (btw- oem itr brace. I have another gsr brace in my garage and it does not fit in the exact same way. It's off by a little less than a Centimeter.

were you ever in an accident (or maybe prev. owner was if your car is used?). maybe the chassis is slightly tweaked.

Is the bar complete? Everything is bolted up except the sides right?
