Default system install almost done

Heres some of the latest pics of everything:





i still have work to do im painting the box and the shroud for the eqs and 6xs the same color as the car (silver) and im laying down carpet thats close to the factory color but everything is working and sounds great

i could use so advice on how to make and mount the shroud around the eqs and 6xs got a idea let me hear them

Looks good

How do you like the 6xs? I have one too, and believe me it made all the diff (POS old Clarion HU) in my car. How much power so you have going to those Type Rs?

it looks like you are not afraid to do some glass work, so make something cool with a plexi cover. Then drill holes over the adjustment *****.

move them to the side walls and fiberglass them...then you could lower the seats with out them on there

the 6xs is nice is helps alot but i have a mrd m500 pushing the type r 12"s
my system is all alpine, eclipse, and audio control i still have to replace my interior components and i have a set of kicks being made for a set if 6.5 mid bass driver in the front

its the 5423 model and i love it just simple clear music without all that ghey dolphin swimming crap i can say this if you like loud clear music start with a eclipse hu you wont be disapointed

how come the shitty RCA's, if u want better ones let me know. i can get u some Monster micro XLN at a hooked up price. won the award for the most quiet RCA's at the CES show this year, its wut im running. oh yea, richard clark helped helped out on the engineering.

this is the cheaper route, i can get u a 6 channel setup, 15 foot, for 70 bucks. or i can get u a 4 channel setup and a 2 channel for 90. i went with the 4+2, but its completely up to u.

thanks for the offer but i had to go this way wife is prego and not working and i have to pick up the slack so for now ill use what i can afford

Sheet metal screws but i already pulled it out and im in the process of making a new mounting and cover for the back of my seats

to make a shroud for the audiocontroll pieces on the seats, make a frame the shape of the outline of the seat and a frame around the crossovers and then stretch fleese over it and resin it. in a nutshell thats the basic way of making a cover out of fiberglass. obviously you can go into more detail and you already have the basic idea of fiberglassing by the nice box you made. goodluck, looks good so far

What did you do with the trim ring? It looks like you either made one yourself or blended an eclipse trim ring to a mounting kit. Looks nice regardless.

the trim ring you see in the pic is from the stereo install kit i purchased i had to modify it alittle to allow the face of the deck to open
