Default another new problem (coolant system related)

not sure fan is turning on . I used a thermo. housing from a 92 gsr on my b18 c5 in a 91 si . What i did was spliced the harness from where the original thermo switch wires were and put a clip from another harness which plugged into the 92 gsr thermo housing . Shouldnt doing that work to make the fan turn on automatically? Also the overflow tank is bubbling very violentley . Also noticed the upper rad. hose is VERY soft and flattens out. Im changing the hose in the A.m. Any ideas guys. thanx >>>e

even with you fan not turning on it should over heat..i drove with a working fan for at probably a full year or more! temp went up and down but never past half point. Even after a couple of 8000 rpm ragers then sitting in parking lot trafic on a hot summer day it never went past half point!! ..until ( ) my thermostat went bad..got it fixed everything back to normal....
maybe check your thermalstat....
