B16 in EG swap problems?? Please help!!!
I'm having trouble with my swap. I got everything installed but it won't run right. I tried starting it with a stock p28, just cuz my ecu was at Kenji. When I started it, it was running like ****, and spit some codes at me. I tinkered with it and got it running a little better. Then I got my new ecu today and plugged that bad boy up, started it, and trouble-shot the rest of the codes. I got it running fine at idle, then I tried to rev it a little. This is where I ran into my problem. When I hit the throttle, it's as if the engine shuts off completely, and when I let go, it goes back to idle, and runs fine. If I give it a little gas (less than 10%) it revs a little, and anything past that, it does the same thing. I'm stumped. I do need to mention, it rev'd fine with the stock ecu, but idled rough. Any ideas??
recap-b16 in eg hatch, kenji ecu, idles fine, will not rev past 10% throttle, rev'd fine with stock ecu, idled rough with stock ecu.

check all your vac lines? i had a similar prob in my old mazda.. took off every vac hose and blew into em, put em back on and never had the problem again.. not sure but everytime ive had a vac line hooked wrong or plugged when its not supposed to be ive had some kinda throttle problem.

Yea its sounds like that.Make sure you dont have the tps and map sensor plug crossed. My friend did that and it would die everytime he gave it gas and or it would sputter big time.
