Rough Idle in drive!
I have a 1991 Acura Integra 1.8LDohc, when that car warms up and it is in drive idling the car shakes. The timing belt, air filter, spark plugs, cap, rotor, and wires are new. The ignition timing is right on the mark and it still shakes. If you put it in neutral it seems to go away because the load is not on the engine. There is no modifications to the vehicle, it is completely stock. Anyone else run into this.
i have the same problem, and also, timing belt and everything was done. I have read that some people say it might be bad motor mounts, in my case I have a custom exhause and it was vibrating against the chasis and causing the whole car to shake, so i put a peice of rubber in btwn and it cut down the vibration in half. you should check around ur exhaust while its in drive (get someone to sit in the car with the brakes on tho! hehe) and see if it is hitting anything.
other than that I am stilll lookin for a solution to that same problem cuz its really annoying and there is all kinda little noises that are caused by it.
anyone been able to solve this?
