Sound quality when test pipe is added....
does it sound louder? deeper? cleaner? thinkin about gettin one. that or a high flow cat. isnt test pipe only for racing though? just something i read
i personally don't like the sound. loud, not clean, just not a good sound. plus you'll lose some low end makin daily driving around town that much more a pain. unless your car is on race track more than it is on the street, then maybe it's worth it. but IMHO, i think a high flow cat is good enough.
test pipes are are supposed to be only for racing because they are not legal for the street.
whether ro not you put one on your car depends on if you wouldn't mien having a louder, bad smelling, sometimes raspy sounding exhaust in exchange for a few hp. for some it's worth it, for some it's not.

How does the greddy header bolted on a H22 sound since the cat has to be replaced by a test pipe? or does it depend a lot on the muffler.
I had a resonated test pipe with headers, and a greddy evo. Noise was deeper, not too loud, and was not raspy. The con was that i lost low end, but felt a big difference in high end (freeway and especially vtec).
