Squeaking/Creaking... struts maybe?
My car started creaking. At first i noticed it when I slowed down and thought it might be brake related, but over the last couple of weeks I've noticed that it does it mostly during acceleration and braking. It does it when I hit "dips".
I figure it has to be something suspension related, either bushings somewhere or maybe the struts. It sounds like it is coming from right in front of my feet.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Did you do any suspension work lately? I know that if the forks on the lower part of the front shocks aren't torqued like a ****, then they can squeak. That's all i got.

...Wait is your car a '91? If so then it may just be the bushings, those things don't last forever.

I haven't touched it, it just started creaking out of the blue. It doesn't do it when it rains if that turns on any light bulbs.
yea, mine is a 94 hatch. mine does the same thing. i sprayed all the bushings in the front that connect the lca with a lube, and it stopped for like 2 days.. heh. i guess i need to find a good place to buy new suspension bushings...
it's your bushings. either way just lube it up with good grease. polyurthene sqeaks real bad if you don't grease them up prior to installing them, trust me this is from personal experiences.
