Mine shakes when its rolled down halfway. Really weird. It's not a lot, but still somethin that shouldn't happen. Doesn't do it when its all the way up or down, only when its rolled down some. I've been thinking of taking the door panel off for a while but haven't gotten around to trying to diagnose the problem

that's exactly what happen. i took the panel off too, i think it's something between the metal and windows, i need to take the car to dealer to check it, but they told me if it's something i did too my car (like alarm...etc) then i have to pay for it. which i'm worry about it, coz i have after market speakers in there, but i know it's nothing to do with it, just scared dealer gonna use that as an excuse to ask me to pay for it .

I have the same problem, it's especially bad when the window is down.

I don't know what it is.

Sounds like a problem I had and now have again. When my windows were slightly open and I closed my door it would shake and I'd think I cracked the glass. When I took my car to the dealer to diagnose the problem, they found that the rubber piece in the channel guides had come off from the metal backing. So what was happenning was the glass was vibrating against the metal backing of the channel guide.

If you take it to the dealer have them check this first, as it is my suspect for your problems. The only thing about this is problem number 2...it'll come back after awhile. As I said I have the problem again and it's on both doors and I'm guessing it's the same channel guides that have broke. Next time I take my car in I may have them replace them again but this time put some adhesive (i.e. super glue or epoxy) between the metal and rubber seal to keep it from coming off.

Hope that helps...

I don't have a scanner but if you have a helms or someone that does and can scan it's on page 20-14. It's basically a piece of metal shaped like a "U" with a piece of rubber that fits in it and the glass runs in this channel. So it's metal U outside, rubber U inside and glass sliding in it. I'm not sure if you can change it out yourself as I've never tried. But everytime I pull my door panel off I can't even see the thing. Only reason I know about it is the tech showed the piece to me when he took it out. As for finding the piece in your door, the rubber piece may actually be sitting at the bottom of your door. Mine was, since it totally came off the metal guide. You should have one on the front edge of the glass and one at the back.

As for your speakers, I don't think they will void your warranty as my dealer didn't with me. Though your speakers are probably a big part of your problem. I listen to music with pretty good bass to it. Seems that the vibration from this shakes loose the rubber seal and exposes the metal that the glass shakes against.

As I said if you can get them to use some type of adhesive before installing it may be a better bet for it not to come back. Don't hold me to that as an answer to this problem though...
