Default will this damage my car ?

i had this shop to do my VAFC and it end up i lost my vtec, (most likely wrong wiring they used 2000 R ecu manual to wire my 2001 R) i drove for a day pass 7k rpm for 5-6 times. Now they took it out and reset my ecu, my car runs ok now (somehow i thinks it's slower, may be just my mind is playing the trick), but would i damage my engine ? if they took out my VAFC and reset ecu will everything back to normal ?

You should be fine. We all rev over 6000rpm sometimes without engaging vtec (using light throttle), which doesn't hurt the engine.

I doubt anything would be wrong. First your motor can obviously take it. Second if you are on the smaller lobe no biggie and third even if you were on the smaller lobe, but your ECU was still running the same fuel parameters as if it were on the larger lobes you would just be running rich. I would just go find a reputable shop.
