Finished ZC Swap today, car won't start, throws code 10 for Intake Temp Sensor?
What is this sensor and why isn't my car working. 10 is the only code it is throwing. I don't know what an intake temp sensor is so if anyone could give me info it would help. Also there is one green plug on the DX harness not plugged in because I couldn't find anything for it to plug into, is that for the Intake Temp Sensor or is there supposed to be one left over?
i believe the air intake temp plug is white. this sensor is a little white sensor located on the intake manifold, often times on one of the runners.
Yeah I had it with the white plug on it. I also tried taking the D15 sensor off and plugging that in. I didn't put it inside the manifold cuz I'm afraid I will strip the screws and that would. Would it matter? Would the car know?
A code 10 will not stop the car from starting. look else where. is it cranking? firing? anything?
when i did my MPFI swap i threw a code 10, at first but then i switched the extra plug with the air temp sensor, and no more codes....i will check later today and see what color the plug is on the air temp sensor...
OK thanks for the help guys. I found out my positive wasn't hooked to the ECU connection at the fuse box, however the ECU had worked fine without that hooked up. Though it still does not start. It seems like it really wants to but just doesn't. I check the firing order. I don't really remember off the top of my head but is the ZC firing order not like other Civic engines or something?

I just checked for spark and it is getting spark, at least for cylinder 1. So I'm sure they all work.
Could it be fuel? Before I tightened down the line it leaked at the fuel rail so I assume that fuel is getting there. How can I check if it is getting into the engine?

I have the integra one it has 4 black wires and one red, the power from the DX harness goes to the red, and the wires from each injector goes to each black, I assume that is right. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I have one question though. When I wired up the injector plugs I used the wires for the MPFI and stuck that in the right side terminal (if you were looking at the engine from in front of the car) and then the wires that go to the injector resistor box was in the left side terminal. Is that right, should it be the other way around? Does it even matter?
