I bought a Garret T3 turbo with a .48 A/R turbine and a .52 A/R compressor. How good will this work on an H22A. I would like to run 8PSI daily and maybe 12psi track. The engine is a JDM H22A
This will be on a stock bottom end tuned with a Hondata S200B. The top end is ported and polished with cam gears and stock valve-train.

I have searched high and low for some answers on here and several other websites. Any ideas what kind of power I could expect?

Can the the stock bottom end handle occasional 12 psi with maybe a small shot of nitrous? This will be tuned of course on 93 octane. Thanks for your help.

 

well, the turbo is kinda small. granted youll get great response and power out of 8 psi. 12 might be pushing everything. as for power, depends on total setup.

 

Ive herd the ringlands are weak and cant take more then 8 psi. But thats just what ive herd through the grapevine.... At any rate dont squeeze and run boost.
