ECU error code 43 - Fuel supply system...
Ok. So this pile of crap 3rd gen I am trying to make a daily driver is driving me crazy. Had a code 1. Replaced the oxygen sensor and it seems happy. So tonight I drive around town for a couple hours to see if the car will act right. Everything is cool for the first hour and a half and then a check engine light. Damn. Check it and it is 43 - Fuel supply system. Huh? The car runs fine.
Has anyone experienced that code? Could it simply mean the car is running rich or lean or does it mean that an injector is malfunctioning or ??? I have no idea what to try to address. The car is stock engine wise except for an intake. It also has a Walbro in tank fuel pump from when the car was turbo. However, the fuel pump does not flow that much more than stock and it is obviously working fine as the car runs fine. Any ideas? Thanks.
