I HATE rear drums. Disks for EK Sedan?
What will I need.. and from what car?
Remember.. this is a 98 4 door EX.
Could I use the 99+ Si rear suspension? Drums suck sooo bad as far as replacing pads. It would be worth it for me to just swap disks in there.
Thanks for your time.

depends if you want to do it the cheap route or expensive route.
cheap route: go to local junkyard and get a 94-up integra ls or gsr rear suspension (or find civic w/abs and use that but ditch the abs wiring), about $250 for whole rear suspension. it is a direct bolt on affair
ever thing is used so inspect everything.
expensive route: buy the aem drum to disc brake conversion kit, about $400-500. also a direct bolt on with no problems. everthing is brand new.
it's your choice

I went with 99 si rear disc in back with the whole trailing arm as well from the 99 si... (I have a 98 hatch) went right up no problems basically .. it's a bitch to do if u don't have a lift... but this type of mod helps alot with nose dive.. but I believe you should do a upgrade of the Master cylinder with larger front brakes.. because that will honestly improve your braking more seriously ... you can also use any integra rear disc as well but you'll be using your stock civic trailing arm good luck

I never needed a lift to do the rear disc conversion. but you did?
but yeah it would be a good investment to buy the master cylinder and brake booster to offset the balance of the rear brakes. I haven't done that yet but is in my future mod list.

nah just makes it easier.. since the whole trailing arm and drum brakes weigh a ton if you are by yourself ... but no u don't need it..sorry MR.HULK

I just put a floor jack under the rear suspension and just jack it up and align everything. just my way and probably everybody's too....I hope.
