Default Any TEG owners in Northern Virginia --Special Request

aight, this is gonna sound a little weird but stick with me on this. my speedometer has stopped working as of a week or so ago. I figured it might be the speed sensor, and i was just going to have Acura check it out. then i noticed my odometer wasnt working either. tried to reset the trip odometer to see if that could jump it in any way, did nothing. checked the wires in back, everything is fine. took apart the gauge cluster and turns out the needle is broken on the speedometer, still have no clue whats wrong with the odometer. now, here comes the request. was thinkin about buying a new cluster (obviously used but u get the idea) and just swapping them. now, before i go purchase this cluster, i want to make sure this will solve my problems. now, i was wondering if anyone in the northern virginia are would mind meeting up with me sometime and just letting me hook up their cluster to mine to see if it works. wont take more than 5-7 minutes tops. would consider payin a little gas money.i know its an odd request so i will understand if i dont get any response. but didnt want to pay acura to tell what i think i know. and to the people in the non northen va area, any idea what might be wrong with it? all the other gauges/lights work fine. thanks

did you put indiglo gauges or something stupid like that in? if so, thats probally the problem, need some more info, and if its just your cluster broken, any cluster will work from another integra, as long as its the same obd

usually if the speedometer doesn't work, the odometer doesn't work either... at least thats what happens in old Benz's...

(i.e. your odometer thinks your going 0mph)
