ECU problem code?
I've asked this before but no one knew. Now that engine light is just driving me crazy so I'll try and keep this one up for awhile until hopefully someone can help me. I have a 4th gen accord w/ a jdm h22a engine in it. The ecu is pulling a code 36. I have looked through every book and site imaginable and can't find it. Anyone who has this swap or this engine that might know please help. I'm open to any suggestions that might help.
The best I could figure out is that it's an ABS code:
36 Right hand rear outlet, hydraulic modulator solenoid valve
Sorry, if this doesn't help any. That was the only thing I could find hinting at a code 36.

Hi...
sorry that i ask, but are you sure that you counted correctly...? Is it really 36?
Anyway...here are some ECU-Codes...check it out!!
The Site is in german, but the description is in english.

Yeah its a code 36 for sure. I've checked over and over again. Its been pulling that same one since I put the engine in a couple of weeks ago.
The only thing that even hinted at a 36 was the abs code but it wouldn't make any sense for it to pull that code. I don't have abs and I couldn't find that code on the ecu problem code list its on a completly different list

wow, this will be the forth time this week for this question. If your ecu has 4W on the side of it, then this is a ghost code, it if for the traction control portion that was avalible on the JDM models. It does not affect driveability at all, it only shows up when you check the codes.
Have you tried looking in one of those Haynes books or whatever... if nobody has, then next time I'll look it up when I don't have so many exams to study for.
I'm pretty sure the book has all the codes up to 43

well, if you do have the p13 with the four plugs, and the code is 36 then it is a ghost code. The only time it shows up is when you have the test connector jumped. If your check engine light stays on after you have reset the computer and removed the jumper wire in the test connector, then you might have a bad ecu.
