Clutch Vacum
I think I have a vacum leak somewhere inline with my clutch. Does anyone know how I can tell if it is the clutch master or the slave cylinder? The clutch isn't very easy to push in. And I know it is not the clutch itself, because I had the same symptoms before I did my swap.
If there was a leak it would be very easy to push in, the pressure of the fluid
would be leaking out somewhere.
I would have someone push the pedal in and you watch for the travel of
the clutch fork. If it moves a little then check closely the Master and Slave cylinder.
You might have a leak. But if it is harder and harder to push in and the pedal travel is the same then you may have a hardware problem , like a throwout bearing or such. Good Luck
