JDM Cluster Problems in a 2000 type r
I put my jdm cluster in lats night and it didnt work at all.. When i put in the new cluster there was three plugs for my factory one, but when i put this one in there was only two plugs that go in(the two big ones) and the little yellow one didnt have a receptacle for it...
Did i do something wrong?? Wrong cluster for the car?? Anything to fix this?

these are all known and expected issues.
the little yellow plug is the SRS plug.
just swap the JDM ITR gauges to the USDM housing and you'll be set. search for directions.. I posted a clear set of directions before but it's your job to search for it, not mine.

that's easy. just need a screwdriver and a little bit of road testing to match rpm/speed to what it used to read.. one needle at a time.

What do you mean one needle at a time?
Why not use the JDM tach, water temp gauge and fuel gauge and simply swap the needle on the speedometers?

warranty ends at 50k and some people like to have the warranty for longer. not saying it's the right thing to do as it's fraud and all, but that's why a number of people do it.

No No...that's the gay way of doing it...I had the same problem because I had bought a 96 spec Spoon gauge cluster for my 98 spec....you should just try swapping the green film on the back....takes 20 minutes being very careful

or my way that takes 15 without having to be careful
but it's the users choice, whichever they want to use.

there are 3 screws that are pretty deep into the rear housing of the cluster remove those and the bezel will come off w/ ease...

thats what i did.. so its much easier to recalibrate the speedo needle.. just watch your revs then pin it at the speed you're going.

take about 5 minutes... remove all the bulbs, remove all the screws, pull pull off the film...

yeah swap the green film thats what i did when i put the itr cluster into my hatch (integra dash in it) when ever i put my seat belt on the fuel guage would go to empty took me a while to figure that out. i just swaped the green film from the ls cluster i used to have and it all works fine
i have a b18c3 engine swap in my integra with cams and all that, whenever my tach hits 6 000 it will drop to 0 rpms, the engine is fine i have a type r guage cluster in it anyone know what might be the issue
